How to use PL-X
Cắt một đoạn dải PL-X dài bằng chiều rộng ổ đỡ. Đặt dải lên bề mặt trục khô (dùng Silicone Grease nếu bề mặt bị ô-xy hóa). Siết bulông theo moment quy định. Tháo nắp — dải sẽ bị bẹp theo hình dạng khe hở thực tế. Dùng gauge card đi kèm đặt lên dải bẹp để đọc giá trị mm/inch trực tiếp, không cần dụng cụ đo thêm.
Cut a strip of PL-X equal to the bearing width. Place the strip on the dry shaft surface (use Silicone Grease if oxidised). Torque the bolts to specification. Remove the cap — the strip will be crushed to the exact clearance profile. Use the included gauge card placed over the crushed strip to read the clearance value in mm/inch directly, with no additional instruments required.
PL-X có thể dùng thay cho PL-A trong ổ trục ô tô thông thường không?
Can PL-X replace PL-A for standard automotive bearings?
Không nên. PL-X có dải đo 0.018–0.045mm — nếu khe hở thực tế lớn hơn 0.045mm (phổ biến trong động cơ ô tô thông thường), dải PL-X sẽ bị bẹp hoàn toàn và không cho kết quả đọc được. Chọn PL-A (0.025–0.175mm) cho ổ trục ô tô tiêu chuẩn.
Not recommended. PL-X measures 0.018–0.045mm — if the actual clearance exceeds 0.045mm (common in standard automotive engines), the strip will be fully crushed and unreadable. Choose PL-A (0.025–0.175mm) for standard automotive bearings.
